Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(C2174 Hewell Road, Barnt Green) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: to close that part of C2174 Hewell Rd from its junction with U23221 Sandhills Ln to its junction with C2161 Sandhills Rd.

Reason: Utility work by STW

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2174 Hewell Rd (part), B4120 Bittell Rd, C2291 Birmingham Rd, C2291 Red Lion St, C2001 Station Rd, C2001 Scarfield Hill, C2173 Wheeley Rd, C2174 Blackwell Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months.  Anticipated duration: 2 days Commencing: 26 August 2026
