(U23220 Hewell Lane, Barnt Green) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: to close that part of U23220 Hewell Lane from its junction with C2171 Blackwell Road for a distance of 100 metres in a north westerly direction.
Reason: Replacement manhole cover and frame by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U23220 Hewell Lane, C2151 Fiery Hill Road, U21401 Linthurst Road, U21405 St Catherines Road, C2157 Linthurst Newtown, C2174 Blackwell Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 11 February 2024

NOTICE OF THE CLOSURE OF C2161 SANDHILLS GREEN, BARNT GREEN, WORCESTERSHIRE (“THE HIGHWAY”)
Reason for restriction: Carriageway remedial work. There is a need to close the highway in the following terms:-
- The effect of this Notice is that no vehicle shall proceed along that part of the highway from its junction with C2173 Aqueduct Lane to its junction with U23221 Bittell Lane.
- This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 5 days, however, it is anticipated that it will remain in force for 1 day commencing 6 December 2023.
- Alternative routes: – U23221 Bittell Lane, B4120 Bittell Road, C2173 Aqueduct Lane and vice versa.
Nothing in this Notice shall prevent at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the highway, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from the highway.
