PUBLIC NOTICE OF THE CLOSURE OF C2151 BROOKHOUSE ROAD, BARNT GREEN, WORCESTERSHIRE (“THE HIGHWAY”)
PUBLIC NOTICE
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
Reason for restriction: Water Leak / Burst Main. There is a likelihood of danger to the public or of serious damage to the road. There is a need to close the highway in the following terms:-
- The effect of this Notice is that no vehicle shall proceed along that part of the highway from its junction with C2159 Littleheath Lane to its junction with U21402 Pumphouse Lane.
- This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 21 days, however, it is anticipated that it will remain in force for 2 days (24hrs) commencing 28 November 2024.
- Alternative routes: -C2159 Littleheath Lane, B4096 Alcester Road, C2157 Greenhill, C2157 Linthrust Newtown, C2174 Blackwell Road, C2174 Hewell Road, B4120 Bittel Road, C2151 Fiery Hill Road, C2151 Brookhouse Road (part) and vice versa.
Nothing in this Notice shall prevent at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the highway, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from the highway.

NOTICE OF THE CLOSURE OF HEWELL LANE, BARNT GREEN, WORCESTERSHIRE (“THE HIGHWAY”)
Reason for restriction: Burst water main. There is a likelihood of danger to the public or of serious damage to the road. There is a need to close the highway in the following terms:-
The effect of this Notice is that no vehicle shall proceed along that part of the highway from its junction with U23251 The Longlands to its junction with C2151 Fiery Hill Road.
This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 21 days, however, it is anticipated that it will remain in force for 6 days commencing 9 October 2024.
Alternative routes: – U23220 Hewell Lane, C2174 Blackwell Road, C2157 Linthurst Newtown, U21405 St. Catherines Road, U21401 Linthurst Road, C2151 Fiery Hill Road, U23220 Hewell Lane (part) and vice versa.
Nothing in this Notice shall prevent at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the highway, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from the highway.

NOTICE OF THE CLOSURE OF C2151 FIERY HILL ROAD, BARNT GREEN, WORCESTERSHIRE (“THE HIGHWAY”)
Reason for restriction: Drainage Work / Flood Alleviation. There is a need to close the highway in the following terms:-
- The effect of this Notice is that no vehicle shall proceed along that part of the highway from its junction with B4120 Kendal End Road to its junction with Cherry Hill Drive (NSG Ref 04700220).
- This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 5 days, however, it is anticipated that it will remain in force for 2 days commencing 26 September 2024.
- Alternative routes: – C2151 Fiery Hill Road (part), B4120 Kendal End Road, B4120 Barnt Green Road, B4096 Rose Hill, B4096 Old Birmingham Road, C2151 Linehouse Lane, C2151 Fiery Hill Road (part) and vice versa.
Nothing in this Notice shall prevent at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the highway, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from the highway.

(C2174 Hewell Road, Barnt Green) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: to close that part of C2174 Hewell Road from its junction with B4120 Bittell Road to its junction with C2161 Sandhills Road
Reason: Remedial works by Amey
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4120 Bittell road, U23221 Bittell lane, U23221 Sandhills lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day Commencing: 27 October 2024
