Cherry Hill Road closure
/in News /by bgexecUPDATE Grey bin waste collection
/in News /by bgexecThere are apologies all round from me and Bromsgrove District Council for the misleading information circulated yesterday. The original email should have said the bin collectors were only going to visit specific sites in Barnt Green. These have now been visited as advised by an email received earlier today:
The following roads have now been recollected Thursday 3nd (GREY BINS)
- Greenbank
- Poplar Drive
- Orchard Croft
- Victoria Mews
- Penzer Drive
Please note the green bins will still be collected on this Saturday, so have them out by 7am. The usual grey bin collection will resume on Tuesday 8th January and every other week after that, alternating with the green bin collections.
More information is available from Bromsgrove District Council:
https://www.bromsgrove.gov.uk/my-place/bins-and-recycling/christmas-collection-dates.aspx (for Christmas schedule) and
https://www.bromsgrove.gov.uk/my-place/bins-and-recycling/when-is-my-bin-collection-day.aspx
So, just to sum up, Bromsgrove DC have confirmed they will not be coming round later to collect any more grey bins today – next collection is Tuesday 8th Jan.

/in News /by bgexecFrom our Safer Neighbourhood Officer (Hagley and Rubery).
If there are people in the area that are causing a nuisance then there are a number of things I would advise:
- Depending on their conduct and demeanour 101 could be called to log the report or 999 should the offender be violent or committing a criminal offence.
- If they are coming from a local pub or if they are known persons from the area this information could be passed to the local policing team to follow up. (Via email is quickest)
- Should anyone wish to contact us our information is found here:

*Criminal offences should not be reported directly to the safer neighbourhood team this will need to be done via 101, 999 or online reporting*.
