(C2043 Bittell Farm Road, Barnt Green)(Temporary Closure) Order 2020

Order |Made: to close that part of C2043 Bittell Farm Road from its junction with B4120 Bittell Road for a distance of 170 metres in a north easterly direction.

Reason: Lay New Ducting by Grub Construction Ltd.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Diversion Route – C2043 Bittell Farm Road, A441 Birmingham Road, A441 Redditch Road, A441 Hopwood Roundabout, A441 Redditch Road, B4120 Birmingham Road, B4120 Bittell Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 14 days. Commencing: 3 September 2020

PUBLIC NOTICE –  ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)

WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF THE CLOSURE OF HEWELL LANE, BARNT GREEN , WORCESTERSHIRE (“THE HIGHWAY”)

Reason for restriction: Water Leak/Burst Main.  There is a need to close the highway in the following terms:-

  1.  The effect of this Notice is that no vehicle shall proceed along that part of the highway from its junction with C2174 Hewell Road to its junction with C2151 Fiery Hill Road.
  2. This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 5 days, however, it is anticipated that it will remain in force for 5 days commencing 21 August 2020.
  3.  Alternative routes: – Diversion- C2151 Fiery Hill Road, B4120 Bittell Road, C2174 Hewell Road, and vice versa.

Nothing in this Notice shall prevent at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the highway, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from the highway.

Proposed Order: to close that part of C2173 Aqueduct Lane from its junction with C2161 Sandhills Greens to its junction with B4120 Bittell Road.

Reason: Replace BT telegraph pole by WRB Solution Ltd.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Diversion – B4120 Bittell Road, C2291 Birmingham Road, C2291 Red Lion Street, C2291 The Square, C2001 Bear Hill, C2001 Station Road, C2001 Scarfield Hill, U23222 Foxhill Lane, C2173 Coopers Hill, C2161 Sandhills Greens and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months.  Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 17 September 2020
