PUBLIC NOTICE OF THE CLOSURE OF C2151 BROOKHOUSE ROAD, BARNT GREEN, WORCESTERSHIRE (“THE HIGHWAY”)

 ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)

WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

Reason for restriction: Water Leak / Burst Main.  There is a likelihood of danger to the public or of serious damage to the road.  There is a need to close the highway in the following terms:-

  1. The effect of this Notice is that no vehicle shall proceed along that part of the highway from its junction with C2159 Littleheath Lane to its junction with U21402 Pumphouse Lane.
  2. This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 21 days, however, it is anticipated that it will remain in force for 2 days (24hrs) commencing 28 November 2024.
  3. Alternative routes: -C2159 Littleheath Lane, B4096 Alcester Road, C2157 Greenhill, C2157 Linthrust Newtown, C2174 Blackwell Road, C2174 Hewell Road, B4120 Bittel Road, C2151 Fiery Hill Road, C2151 Brookhouse Road (part) and vice versa.

Nothing in this Notice shall prevent at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the highway, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from the highway.
