Annual Walking Festival

We invite you to join us on Saturday, 23rd September on any one of our 3 walks. All start from Millennium Arch, Hewell Road, B45 8NW.
– Enjoy the beauty of our surrounding countryside
– Enjoy the fresh air and feel healthy
– Enjoy the company
– Enjoy the post walk refreshments and entertainment
Walk 1 (Shortwood and the Withered Arm) – 8 1/2 mile walk visiting Shortwood Tunnel on the Worcester canal. We will also walk along a disused section of the same canal. Meet at 1PM for 1:30PM start.
Walk 2 (Apes Dale) – 5 mile walk visiting the Hamlet of Apes Dale and Blackwell. Meet at 2PM for 2:30PM start.
Walk 3 (Pinfield Woods and Old Orchard Walk) – 3 mile walk visiting Pinfield woods in Lickey Hills Country Park and return via Old Orchard walk. Meet at 3PM for 3:30PM start.
All walks will return to Millennium Arch between 5PM and 5:30PM. Enjoy the entertainment, pig roast and a drink from Village Vineyards bar.
The walk is free to join in. Accompanied children and dogs are welcome.
